FRIENDS OF HUTTON & SHENFIELD CHORAL SOCIETY
Live music making is very expensive and currently, many of our concerts cost in the
region of £10,000 to stage. We have always tried to pitch our ticket price at a
level which is affordable and, as costs have risen, we have sought to absorb those
increases to avoid raising ticket prices. We have also sought to obtain additional
funding wherever we can but in the present financial climate, this is increasingly
difficult.
We are extremely grateful to all who support us by coming to our concerts and enabling
us to offer high quality choral music with professional orchestral players and soloists.
We are especially thankful for those people who have become Friends of Hutton & Shenfield
Choral Society whose financial help is invaluable.
We would be delighted if other people who enjoy our music would also consider becoming
Friends.
For a minimum contribution of £30 per year, we will give you:
- Advance notice of all concerts
- A prime seat in the centre block at the Society’s 4 main concerts for you and a guest
- A free programme at each concert
- A free copy of “Ensemble”, the Society’s newsletter
- Your name listed in the concert programmes
- Priority to purchase tickets for our popular “Soirée”
- An invitation to social events, such as the Quiz Night
- A reduction of £2 in the price of two tickets for the Society’s 4 main concerts
